Yes I know I only just did my nails a few days ago but its my first week back at UNI ( I had to pimp my nails). I was not sure about this red polish because I thought it made my hands look old but eventually it grew on me. I applied two coats and could still see my naturals nails + adding another coat would just lead to chipping after a day. Anyways ladies hope you are having a good week?.

One word Sheabutter cottage

A couple of weeks ago I ordered me some natural goodies from Sheabutter cottage. I desperately needed some cocoa butter in my life ( my little brother denied me my full tub of butter). This is not a review its just a general overview of the company. sheabutter cottage is a UK based company that sales natural fair trade products. This company is my new craze aside make up  of course.

You all know I can never get one item ( the curious cat in me will never allow that ). I decided to order me cocoa butter soap ( cocoa butter is my favorite butter ), chocolate mask and Tucuma hair butter. The packaging is very simple nothing fancy but I have to say I like the way the soaps are wrapped.

So far I love all the products and finally treated my skin and hair to some cocoa butter. The prices of products are really reasonable and you also have size choices, so if you wanted to try sometime and did not want to spend so much just incase you did not like the product, sheabutter cottage offers its customers small sample size products.

This is what unrefined cocoa butter looks like just incase you were curious (Trust me it smells way better than it looks).

Beauty blender is the new superstar

From the site
"Beautyblender’s patent-pending elliptical shape makes application foolproof by allowing you to access hard-to-reach areas with stunning ease. Its suede texture is sensual to the touch and its unique curves fit the contours of your face, leaving your make up dazzling and undetectable. Beautyblender is latex free, non-allergenic and odor free.

Yep I said it beauty blender applicators  are here to stay and there is nothing we can do about it :).

I remember when these pink beautiful sponges took over the beauty world, it was a revelation for every beauty lover.

The beauty blender  is not your regular cosmetics sponge NO NO NO hunny. Its the master of all sponges ( If by now you have not googled beauty blender, then let me tempt you more).

Cute pink sponge here can be used to apply foundation/blush( cream, liquid and power). What makes this sponge so special is the airbrush finish it creates (we all want that professional finish don't we) . Skin is the 2010 beauty phrase everybody wants to look like there are not wearing an ounce of foundation.

If you want to see me using the applicator check out my last tutorial where the magic happens

Don't get me wrong I still love my brushes but for me the beauty blender is the only applicator I will be using. You can find the blender on Amazon, camera ready cosmetics...........the list goes on.

Hi ladies

how is everyone doing?

I have been on blogspot for a while but I still do not get how some things work.

For some strange reason I cannot comment on peoples blogs, it keeps asking me to choose a profile but when I try nothing happens :(.

Please can someone tell me what to do?.

Thank you in advance

Make up: Nars Albatross highlighting powder

Calm down honey its not white powder. It looks white but when applied on the skin (OMG) it gives the most beautiful gold hue that will flatter all skin tones in my opinion from pale to dark.

Highlighters can be your best friend or enemy depending on how you apply it.Use a fluffy or duo fibre brush and with a light hand apply on your cheekbones, cupid bow or brow bone. This is a product I think is worth having in your kit or personal collection.

Review:Eyeko nail polish.

Argh this post is all over the place but I decided to post it anyway because I have had this in my draft for too long ( my house is not blog friendly + we have little ones around all the time).

Yes yes I got new polish but do not blame me blame ( points finger at the internet). I am a very curious person I always want to know or try new things especially when its hyped.  Eyeko polish has been on my radar for a while and I just had to try it. Luckily for me there were on sale.

Each polish cost £3.50 which is a good deal. The best part is that there ship worldwide, so all my pwetties can enjoy my new discovery.

So lets get down to serious business.

As you can see the polish is very pigmented but this was after I applied 3 coats of the polish. With the eyeko polish its best to start of with a thin coat then gradually build it up. Starting with a thick coat will give you a streaky finish (not cool).

I wore VAMPIRA POLISH  for 5 days without chipping. The formula for the matte is thicker than the polish with shimmer in them. I am not sure if this was done intentionally but I am not a fan of thick polish because it tends to go tacky.

The only big issue I had with EYEKO was the brush applicator ( one word RUBBISH) its rough and the bristles are uneven. So you can imagine how annoyed I was when I was applying.

O between you can buy eyeko polish online .You can use my code E10805 at checkout to get a free gift.
