Hi pwetty ladies
Long time no blog, my exams are finally over and I have the world to myself yayyyy. I went for my first make up show ever on monday and can I just say it was fantastic, exciting, fabulous and overwhelming.
The make up show is an annual event that is held in LA and NY. its the biggest brands. Top industry exhibitors. Speakers from every area of makeup artistry. New product introductions. Special Pro-only offers. Seminars, forums and hands-on workshops. The best networking opportunity in the business.
It’s a must-attend event for anyone involved in the makeup industry. Two days of inspiration, education and community building in the global epicenter of the beauty and entertainment industries – New York City.
I meet so many make up artist, make up fanatics and people of that nature, I attended the second day of the show. The companies had discounts and if you had your professional documents you could sign up for a PRO discount. The list of companies ranged from MAKE UP FOR EVER,Mac, Nigels,Alcone,Inglot and the list goes on.
I got a few things for free and some i bought with my money.I was really proud of myself because I did woop out my bank card once and stuck to my budget (100 points for me). We got a little inside gist from a fellow you-tuber that towards the end of the show companies would want to get rid of their products and gave people the opportunity to price/ negotiate how much there wanted to pay (boy was she right). People went crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
The show had a lot of benefits like we got to be introduced to new products, attend the free classes, meet the pros of the pros and the list goes on.
Between I was a model for EVE PEARL like the EMMY AWARD winner EVE PEARL. WHEN I FIND THE VIDEO OF THE CLASS I WILL SURELY POST IT.
I will be posting a video of the stuff I got and pictures of the event. I am still so excited about the show and its friday :). I will by God's grace attend next year and every year from now on.
And thats a wrap ladies 2010 make up show NYC
