HAUL | EMMA HARDIE : AMAZING FACE MORINGA CLEANSING BALM
I know I just posted my SKINCARE FAVOURITES video but lets just say I watched Caroline Hirons video on Pixiwoo’s body talk channel and I fell in love with the skin beauty guru. The Emma hardie cleansing balm literally sold out nation wide in Space.N.K (Online & in stores) , Bath & body etc. According to the Space.N.K sales rep not long after the video was posted, sales went out of control. I had never heard of caroline until her interview with the Pixiwoo sisters but for some magical reason, I trusted every word that came of her mouth #thatspower.
As a die hard skin lover I managed to secure one of the 4 tubs of the balm that was left in the country ( I’m not joking) thanks to Space.N.K's AMAZING customer service call centre. I picked up my balm a day before I left for Nigeria. I’m excited about doing a full review of the product especially now that I’m using it in Nigeria.
If you need to reach me while i’m in Nigeria, I’ve posted my contact details on the fan page and on my instagram page ( @halimabepo).
REVIEW | NARS- TAJ MAHAL,TAOS,LIBERTE BLUSHES & ALBATROSS HIGHLIGHTING BLUSH POWDER , REVIEWS & SWATCHES
I’m very excited about FINALLY reviewing my NARS cosmetics blushes (Retail £24). NARS cosmetics has been in my good books since the first time i got their award winning blush Taj Mahal. Nars is well known for their intense pigmentation and sleek packaging. Although Nars is considered a luxury brand, I personally think its worth every penny. With Nars you get your money’s worth and more. Compared to other brands Nars gives you more grams of product and because of the intense pigmentation of their products, it lasts you longer than the average brands.
| Taj mahal | blazing burnt orange with golden shimmer |
| Taos | Warm desert rose |
| Liberté | Burnished apricot |
| Albatross | Luminous glow |
| L-R Taj mahal, Taos,Liberte and Albatross |
All Nars blushed and eyeshadows have the same sleek, stylish and velvet textured black packages.

FAVOURITES | MAKEUP
Now for my MAKEUP favourites........as much as I love to treat my skin, I love my makeup #proudmakeuplover. Anywoo, I mentioned a couple of my favourite makeup products that I really love.
One product I mentioned in the video is the Lancôme teint idole ultra foundation. This was a random purchase because I was not looking for a new foundation but the makeup artist at the lancôme counter insisted I tried their new foundation. Apart from the strong unnecessary fragrance in the foundation, I love the finish and staying power of this product. I’ll be reviewing it on the blog very soon.

FAVOURITES | SKINCARE
I decided to post a video of skincare products that are my absolute favourite at the moment. In the video I mention and briefly discuss the products that work for my skin. I’ve been experimenting with products because my skin has changed with age. Although i’m only 24 I feel like the skin I had at 18 is not the skin I have now. Things have definitely changed so I needed to switch up my routine. I hope the video helps with certain skincare concerns that are similar to mine.
PRODUCTS MENTIONED
Alba botanica | Hawaiian pineapple enzyme cleanser (Amazon.co.uk)
Mario Badescu | Glycolic foaming cleanser (beautybay.com)

Kiehl’s | Clearly corrective dark spot solution ( Kiehls.co.uk)
I’ve hyperlinked some of the products reviewed on the blog and also mentioned where the products can be purchased. I’m passionate about skincare because i believe that with a good skin care regime your skin is more likely to hold maekup longer and you will not have to layer your face so much with makeup.

UPDATES | HELLO NIGERIA
Heyyyyyyy beautiful people
I just wanted to update you about my whereabouts. I'm currently in port harcourt City Nigeria. I'm here for a clients wedding and I'm really excited to be here. It's my first time in Port harcourt and the weather here is sooooo good. It's really humid and I love it, I now understand why people from here have AMAZING skin.
Anyway, tomorrow is the natural hair meet up in Abuja (details below) hope I can make it on time to meet some Abuja naturals. While I'm away you can reach me via the contact form on the top right side of the blog and I've posted my Nigeria phone details on the Facebook page.
I feel more comfortable and happy to be Nigeria compared to when I was serving last year. I've had time to think about the direction I want to go with my career and also discovered myself. I'm really looking forward to the big move in September ( yep I'm moving for good "ish" to Abuja). It was a hard decision to make but I'm ready now.
I hope you are all having an awesome weekend?
